DESCRIPTION: Organize and coordinate group sales, generating and cultivating sales leads, promoting the destination; building customer/client relationships and conducting site visits. Maintain client files, provide sales contracts, coordinate with reservations and invoice management. RESPONSIBILITIES: Understand our organization and its potential for meeting the needs of our clients. Meet with potential clients to introduce them to what our organization has to offer. Book clients for tours. Answer all related phone calls, faxes and emails in a timely fashion. QUALIFICATIONS: AA/BA or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years related experience. Ability to work Excel, Microsoft Word, Email Programs, Microsoft Outlook. Ability to type a minimum of 50 words per minute. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with people at all levels and from various backgrounds. Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. Must be willing to work week-ends and holidays as required. A background check will be required at time of hire.
