POSITION: Pretrial Paralegal

DESCRIPTION: Manages a large caseload of unfiled and filed Wrongful Death and Personal Injury asbestos cases at the Pretrial level from intake through the case obtaining a trial date. Paralegal Certificate required. Minimum 1 year experience in a similar office environment, Law Firm preferred. Must have strong communication skills, be able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment. Responsibilities: tracking statutes Regular client contact, including discussing fee contract, health updates, and case progression. Responsible for tracking and meeting all deadlines, both in house and according to the General Orders, Case Management Orders, Local Rules and the C.C.P. Responsible for ordering all necessary records and documents needed in the case, including employment, medical, billing, and pension documents. Prepares and follows up on service of defendants, and sends search requests for missing defendants. Prepares, reviews and serves various pleadings in the case. Responsible for ensuring case information in data is current and correct.

POSITION: Family Law Associate Attorneys

DESCRIPTION: One in Ukiah and one with the option of either their Santa Rosa or Napa location. Hiring two family law associate attorneys licensed in California ideally with at least 2 years of recent and significant California family law experience to work in our Santa Rosa, Napa, or Ukiah office. Willing to consider California licensed attorneys with less than 2 years experience if they are the right fit for us. Ideally at least 2 years of recent California family law experience to assist our current attorney in managing our caseload. Detail oriented "people person" with exceptional writing skills and the ability to use technology and systematic processes to manage a steady caseload. Must be open to working within non-traditional service models in order to meet the changing demands of the consumer legal marketplace. Innovation is appreciated. You must be happy to help high-net worth clients as well as those of modest means. satisfactory driving record, vehicle insurance (at least CA minimum coverage), and reliable transportation; timeliness--we typically work Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Must be willing to undergo a background check.

As a member of our prosecution team, you could be assigned to a variety of cases including: driving under the influence, domestic violence, drug sales and possession, elder abuse, child abuse, gang crimes, consumer fraud, environmental crimes, agricultural crimes, auto theft, homicide, sexual assault, human trafficking and more. You will prepare and prosecute your assigned cases with a team of support personnel including investigators, victim advocates, paralegals and clerical support staff. You will interview witnesses and examine, evaluate, and present evidence as you prosecute your misdemeanor and/or felony cases.
